Purple Tangie is another fantastic offering from DNA Genetics in Amsterdam that has quickly gained popularity in its home and is spreading elsewhere. This strain is a remake of sorts of the popular version of Tangerine Dream that was sought-after in the 1990s. The genetics on this strain are a cross of California Orange and a Skunk hybrid, and its citrus heritage is the most evident in its refreshing tangerine aroma. As a plant, Tangie grows best outside, producing sticky buds that provide euphoric yet relaxed effects.
This is now my favorite strain. Makes me feel energetic and releives pain. I can get alot of things done. Lasts for hours, easy on the lungs.

It should be known that the purple tangie of the 60’s was not a cannabis strain but in fact a type of lsd, specifically a type of windowpane variant. The liquid form was popular because it could be disguised as eye drops.

This is strain is my number 1 go to for dabs never tried the bud but def gets me super baked i love the strain for its tatse and meds so this is a great strain if you are a addict for berry flavored bud this is definitely your go to

So…I get severe anxiety from smoking. But I have to say wow! The last time I smoked was 7 years ago because I was worried about my issue. This immediately gave me the giggles after 1 toke. Half hour later I was coming down. Smoked again…. I got the giggles but more of a huge body buzz. So I flip flopped between the Sativa/indica but def more Sativa dominant. No anxiety whatsoever total opposite. My down is a complete indica just sank right into the couch and just want to go to sleep. I actually feel like I had a lot to drink (which I did) but just intensified the effect. This is really good stuff but smoking more brings out that good old indica. No munchies although the good company I kept had severe munchies. To each their own. This kinda reminds me of Kish (shishkaberry) although that left me completely messed up (in a good way) a quick low but brutal munchies.

Excellent. It’s definitely an other worldly colorful high. Smoked it 4 days in a row several years back .. & I can’t wait to smoke it again someday. Probably the best marijuana that ive ever smoked all around in my book.😈 Purple tangie ftw!

I just tried Purple tangie for the 1st time and I LOVE it. The aroma it leaves just after grinding is so sweet smelling, and the Buzz is perfect! It gives me a nice, clear head high. Purple weed helps with breathing for me and is great for pain

Purple tangie is a thing of beauty with its distinctive, dense, purple nugs covered in gangling, orange hairs. I savor the sweet aroma, and unclouded, rejuvenating high provided by this classic strain. Looking forward to coming across this again.

I really enjoyed this particular strain for a while there I would see different types of tangie anyway. I went into my dispensary to specifactly get a Sativa, sometimes too much induce is a down, for me that is. The next time I order seeds it will be this kind of strong, and of the courses I will be on the look out for it. I love to get high and mess around on my social network page.

Nice strain, it’s not purple, just some little sugar leaves but still a nice bud looking. It smells basically the same as many strains, earthy sweet spicy, with a different taste of sweet berry spicy, and the smoke is so smooth, no cough here ! A fast acting high for sure, 2 puffs and I’m already in that elevated mood, it’s not that aggressive, but more like, something you can appreciate, the visual distortion is something

My favorite strain of all time. Purple tangie is legendary and I’m lucky enough to be able to get it regularly in a non legal state. It’s not quite as strong as other strains, usually around 18-20%, but the high is incredible. The taste is as well, I’d describe it as berry flavored with slight spice/earthy undertones, very smooth. It kind of tastes like it looks! I’m not the artsy type but if you are, this is a must try for you!!! It gives a great cerebral buzz that does not “cloud” your mind at all, allowing you to really focus and get stuff done. It brings out creativity and for introverts like myself, very much relieves anxiety in social settings! Smoke a bowl of this and the next thing you know you’re taking over group conversations. lol
